clean but inconvenient
The room was clean, but inconvenient stairway and an inconvenient location for us. I asked for help with our luggage as we were exhausted on arrival. Only 1 attendant was there daily and that day the desk attendant refused to help claiming hernia surgery. No air conditioning in the fall. No, I would not stay there again. Too many other choices.

Good location - cloase to transit and restaurant
Walking distance to many Rome location, also close to Republica and Termini stations. Breakfast was OK. There is a set of stairs you have to take to get to the reception and there is no elevator to get there.

Perfect for our 2 night stay. Close to most things
We stayed in Rome for 2 nights and Hotel Lirico was perfect for everything we needed. Clean, just enough room for 2, great location (close to the Colosseum, restaurants, and the main train station). Average breakfast - free. Very convenient and met all needs, I Would come back again!

An Ok Hotel in an Amazing City.
The best aspect of Hotel Lirico was its convenience to the Teatro dell'Opera and Termini train station. The decor is cute with mostly music and artsy theme that befits its name. However, the staff were not very welcoming and/or friendly. The Hotel is actually up one flight via the stairs, which can be a bit of a challenge with luggage. The location for the free breakfast was very small and claustrophobic. It is clean and the A/C works very well, but in general was not a particularly remarkable or memorable experience. Perfect for a place to sleep, but that's about it.
