    Poor 2.0
    Horrible experience.
Although the hotel looks fantastic, you sure can't judge a book from its cover. The front desk staff were rude, we had to wait hours for a room we had booked weeks ago and they offered no apologies and no solution (another 2 friends were bumped and didn't have a place to go to at 2AM), housekeeping is probably overworked because it was barely passable; several of our colleagues didn't have hot water in their rooms for their 3-night stay. It was like a hip hop party when we arrived meaning drunk people all over the lobby, on Monday morning the police arrived and arrested people who were taken from the hotel in handcuffs. No common courtesy. There were a few amazing staff that helped us out and were embarrassed by what was going on. I will never go back again unless there is a change in management or ownership.

    Poor 2.0
    Avoid.
Booked and prepaid for a premium king room with city view. At check-in, I was told I had a city view (I specifically asked). When I entered my room, I found the base room (not the larger premium room) overlooking HVAC units and a garage. Not a city view at all. When I called the front desk, I was told that they simply had no "city view" rooms to give out. When I asked why they accepted my reservation and money, they had no response. When I asked why I wasn't informed at check-in that I was being downgraded from what I paid for, they had no response. When I asked why I wasn't upgraded instead of downgraded, after I had a confirmed reservation that had been prepaid, I had no response. To add insult to injury, the hotel keeps overcharging me for minibar (I had exactly two items from the minibar that should have added up to $9, instead I've been charged about $30 so far). Disputed the entire trip and all charges with my credit card company. Avoid.

    Comfy Bed!
Hotel was fabulous! Bed was super comfy! Pool was full of drunk 20-30ishsomething people-that is the only caveat as there was not the opportunity to use the pool without squeezing in between aforementioned people. Not the hotel's fault, but it would have been nice if there was perhaps a separate pool for guests only.

    Poor 2.0
    Disappointing staycation
Room wasn’t ready when we checked in, the services listed stated they had a dog walker available and then the front desk didn’t know what I was talking about when it was clearly listed as a service. Then the front desk offered to walk her and ended up refusing it after the fact. On top of that the water was ice cold in the shower and when we ordered room service it came in to go boxes versus plates. Given that this is a pricey hotel, I expected a lot better service than what we received!

The hotel was amazing and the staff were phenomenal. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to come back to a hotel more.
