Cabin Name: Big Kahuna Lodge
A getaway to the mountains doesn't mean you have to give up the luxury
amenities you love. Get ready for a modern cabin experience at Big
Kahuna Lodge! You're welcomed inside by the unique decorations of the
cabin. Stay here & cozy up with a good book in front of the gas
fireplace. On the main level of the cabin you will find 2 king
bedrooms one shared bathroom and one private bathroom. Savor coffee in
the fully equipped kitchen in the morning before heading out to the
attractions in Pigeon Forge only 10 minutes away. Head upstairs to the
loft room & play a game of pool, in the loft you will find a twin sofa
sleeper. In the upper level of the cabin you will find the Master
bedroom with the master private bathroom with the jacuzzi tub. Unwind
after with grilling on the gas BBQ on the deck and sit and enjoy
supper as a family on the dinner table seating 6. At the cabin, soak
your cares away in the bubbly hot tub before retiring to one of THREE
king bedrooms.

IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do
NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, or
Christmas Day
Check-In:
*4pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin
Check-Out:
*10am - There is NO check out "to do list" for your departure, you are
on vacation & you should enjoy it to the last minute without having to
do any "chores".
Fireplaces:
*On During: October 1st - February 28th
*Off During: March 1st - September 30th
Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy,
mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a
cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4
wheel drive under normal weather conditions.
*Well Water: Most of our cabins are on well water. Well water here in
the Smoky Mountains sometimes has a different feel to it and often
times a slight sulfur smell and often times has a brown color. Well
water is safe to drink and to use for bathing and to cook with. We do
have water systems on any cabins that have these issues, but keep in
mind, it may smell and feel different than what you are used to. Also,
some of our wells take time to recoup themselves after a lot of water
has been used. This is a common problem in this area and there are
times you may have to use water sparingly or wait for the water
pressure to rebuild.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There
are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees
will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to
have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot
control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native
bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there
are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please
let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly
and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any
wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.
