About this cottage
Magpie Cottage is a family friendly, holiday bungalow attached to the owners premises. The property is decorated with an eclectic mix and styles of art. It’s a great location so close to the South Downs with a wide variety of footpaths to explore.
You enter through a small porch, perfect for leaving muddy walking boots, into the colourful, cosy lounge with wood burning fire and a basket of complimentary logs. There is Free-view TV, with DVD player and a good selection of DVD's for you to view on rainy days, Wifi, and a selection of reading books.
There is a new, modern bathroom off the living room with a bath, overhead shower, basin & WC. There are two double bedrooms, one has a large wardrobe and the other a chest of draws. Both bedrooms have been given the artistic touch and are colourful and relaxing. If you are travelling with a little one, a travel cot and highchair can be arranged. Please remember to request these and please bring your own bedding for the cot as none is provided.
The farmhouse style kitchen is fully fitted with everything you could possibly need to cook relaxed, holiday meals and the dining table in the centre makes the perfect spot for planning days out or whiling away the hours after exploring.
There is a garden to the front and side of the bungalow where you can relax on sunny days and evenings, various outdoor furniture is provided for your use. The perfect space to enjoy an evening of star gazing too, as no light pollution here will spoil your night sky. The cottage is dog friendly, so two well behaved dog is welcome.
The cottage is the perfect romantic getaway, to relax, unwind and enjoy and for those not wishing to cook, there are three pubs within a gentle twenty minute walk and a tea room about fifteen minutes walk, so plenty of opportunity to build up an appetite.
Please be aware the cottage is part of a complex with the owners' home attached to it but rest assured they are happy to leave you to enjoy your stay but there if you need them.
This property is dog friendly and a charge of £25.00 per stay or per week, whichever is shorter, will be made for the dog (guide dogs for the blind and registered assistance dogs excepted). Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog with you. This property will accept a maximum of one dog.
