When we arrived the whole resort area road and parking areas next to cabins except parking lot by pool, office, and marina were torn up Construction crew was behind schedule. It was Friday afternoon and they were not working. The road to our cabin was a muddy mess, we couldn’t reach our cabin or our car would have gotten stuck, we would have been ankle deep if mud to walk to it. At first staff said they could not give us another cabin. They did not have another studio available. They said there would be an up charge to move to a 1 or 2 bedroom which was available.I declined stating it was their fault. Management was called and staff agreed with me even though management was reluctant. Eventually I was given a 2 bedroom that did have a semi graveled parking space. My car was a muddy mess after getting to the cabin. Once they get things together this will be a great place to stay on Lake Wylie.
