Great ambiance but room needs attention

The decor and ambiance of the hotel was great. The service was wonderful. I loved the outdoor spaces and the food/bar was enjoyable. The downside would be the room itself being super dark with a window facing a brick wall, no light came in. Also, the shower had very little pressure, almost just dripping out. The bathtub plug would not screw in and water would go down. Early morning of check out the maid kept knocking on my door (4 times that morning to clean). It was annoying. I didn't have a door card to hang. The doors slam shut super loud, so you always hear a slam when someone was coming and going. Overall decent stay.

    Wonderful hotel

Being a dog friendly hotel was a must for us since we were traveling with our dog. When we arrived, the bellmen were super friendly and helpful. When checked in we were upgraded to the next level of room, which was beautiful. Couldn’t have been happier with the room, service and the location. The only meal we ate there was breakfast, and it was great. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in Charleston!

    Great hotel and service!

Originally booked this hotel because as a gold member they offered free valet parking which saved a substantial amount of money. We arrived to find our room had some cleanliness issues which were promptly corrected. However our electronic door lock failed and couldn’t be fixed in a timely manner. At this point we were offered another room with an upgrade. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Thanks to them all.

This hotel was just as depicted in the photos - very hip in a great location! The patio was really nice for a family breakfast with our Frenchie dogs : ) The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go back.

People on property are fantastic but won’t return.

Nice lobby, coffee shop and other common spaces. Excellent customer service - bellmen and front desk!! Love the filtered water (still and sparkling) available on each floor using a refillable bottle from your room - kudos! Major disappointments included - stained carpet in hallways, dirty coffee cups in room, shower VERY slow to drain. Decided that the overly fragrant toiletries they offer is due to the overall “off-putting” odor in the room (dirty diaper/sewer/old carpet?).
