Nice accomodations- too pricey during festivities
We stayed at this Hotel for the annual Bluesapalooza festival held in Mammoth Lakes. This was our second time at this hotel. It was nice, but too pricey because of the demand on the dates we went.

Standard mush. Nothing special, except for ...
We stayed in a double queen room with my wife and two young kids. I had to make a last minute reservation and I had to pay almost $300 / night. The price includes all-you-can-eat breakfast for four people. The town of Mammoth Lakes is full of tourists (such as ourselves) late summer (i.e., before the school starts), hence the price. The room was a standard two-star hotel room (I wouldn't rate this as a three-star). Amenities were minimal (for example, a single small bottle of shampoo for four). WiFi in the room was almost non-existent. There is an indoor pool, which was full of kids, and knowing what I know as a parent, I would say stay away from that pool. So, in summary. This is standard mush that is masquerading as a place to visit. Don't stay here, unless you have to (as I did). Its higher price is only because of high demand. One would think that owners would invest in the property to make the rooms and ambiance match the price somewhat. But no. It is just a money making enterprise. No pride of ownership evident anywhere. I must add, however, that not everything was a disappointment. The guy who was making the omelettes at the breakfast bar was outstanding.
