Worst hotel experience
We made our travel plans back in Dec. Reserved & paid via hotels.com. The night before we were supposed to travel, we looked up the weather & saw that there was travel warning because of a blizzard. We did not want to risk it so we called hotels.com & let them know the situation & asked if we could reschedule. They called the hotel & said no manager was on site to help us & to call back the next morning. Called shortly after 8am, got the same excuse. Called back around noon & was one hold for 47 min before the rep from hotels.com came back & said the hotel is not being cooperative we will take care of the change for you with no fee. We went up the next weekend & first thing they do is run our card and charge us a balance of almost $300. I told them we already paid hotels.com & they gave excuses that we shouldn't have booked through a 3rd party. They called a manager & took care of it. We got our room on the 1st floor & it turned out to be a handicapped room. No problem stayed in those before. Well this one was the worst one ever. It was near the lobby, noisy, water from the shower flooded the bathroom, the shower head would not stay up, the heater made the loudest noise when it came on - basically up all night. Next day we told the hotel & again blamed our room because we booked through 3rd party & got nowhere. We got another 2 sleepless nights before we checked out & again got charged the almost $300. Rep could not take care of it & no manager on site. Eventually resolved

Very nice and helpful
The rooms were really clean and nicely presented. The bed was extremely hard and pillows were not comfortable... breakfast was very good though!
