Only good thing about the property was day of checkout and bell desk blonde female was very nice in storing our bags till bus for airport. Check in was horrible, staff was extremely rude and condescending. Paid for king bed, staff stead hotel was sold out of king beds on a Wednesday, then asked for any complementary upgrades due to no king beds, staff laughed and stated “are you kidding me” and then wrote our room number down and placed it on counter and sarcastically said we were checked in. Me and my why were very confused in disbelief of how rude she was. We arrived in room and found out room had no refrigerator and called to ask for one because we needed one for medication (insulin), staff stated there were currently no refrigerators available. Then we received check in text message asking if we needed anything to text and thought hotel was reaching out about refrigerator call and texted we needed refrigerator for medication urgently to keep medication in, received text that there were no refrigerators available and we would be put on list as soon as one became available. Needless to say we never received one. We went downstairs to try and gamble and dealer staff were also not friendly and we proceeded to leave for another casino in disbelief that we just arrived and were being treated poorly in Vegas on vacation. We tried a couple times during stay to gamble and staff was horrible, so we continued to leave property and gamble and eat elsewhere. Horrible experience!!!

Bad unsafe.
Bad all around. Moved to different room because No Safe and smell of moldy. Next room wasn't much better. Safe was locked and couldn't get into it. No hot water so waited for repairs to safe and hot water. Then water had to be run for 5 minutes or more before each shower for 8 days before you had hot water....wasted water every day. Room service would sometimes change towels. Sometimes leave fresh bottled water but not always. Had to ask for Kleenex. TV has very poor reception in both rooms as it kept cutting out. No list of TV stations on table. Guide on tv but hard to find. Front door into lobby is not secured. You can walk straight into lobby and straight to elevator with no security. Room door in South Tower was loose so it appeared it was broken into or easily could be broke into. Filthy window. Cannot see outside as its full of mud, dirt, cement or something. Inside was dirty also. Outdated furniture with no mirror exhaust cent in bathroom. Poor lighting. Worse part was cost...about $110 per day. Casino is outdated and in poor shape. Black Jack pays 6-5 where it use to pay 3-2. Another house advantage. Lots of homeless in that area and not clean. The outside sidewalk is Filthy. I think you get the picture.

Don't stay here! Rude and poor treatment of guests
Tub didn't drain. Never came to fix it after 3 calls and waiting for hours to shower. Moved us to an upgraded new room, but next day a rude manager named Alyssa woke us up saying we had 2 hours to vacate this room as they needed it. I said I just woke up, and she condescendingly said you have 2.5 hours then. Seriously!!!! Abruptly forced us to pack and move again without any comps, no apology, and even hung up on me. Refused to let me speak to a manager. New room had hole in wall and was missing blankets. Left message for VP General Manager, Mr. Pergolini, to call me, but he never did. After Alyssa found out I called him (bellman told her), she called me to 'sort of' apologize and offer to refund my resort fees and buy us piizza or a sandwhich. How generous of her... NOT!!! This was so upsetting and cost the 3 of us a lot of vacation time and anguish. I was ill from being so upset. A few other general things happened as well...my mom dropped a $40 ticket and someone cashed it. Security gave her lip service...they could tell it was cashed and would get back to her the next day after looking at cameras. Good thing we didn't hold our breath as they never touched base with us. They were grinding cement floors, which was deafening. Machine were messed up & had to wait for hand pay. PooI closed. I did finally reach a Marketing Manager as we were leaving by accident. He recognized how terrible we were treated. He bought us breakfast and waved a small tab from a prior night's meal.

Exceptional 10.0
Great place for a great price.
I was honestly ify about this hotel because I got such a great price on it. However overall it was great. I had 2 small issues, one is in regards to the resort fee the hotel charges at $20 per day. When I paid hotels.com it included this fee but then the hotel charged it again. However upon calling they did give me a claims number to call to dispute this so I am doing that. My only other concern was parking. There is a lot that is free to hotel customers however they don't tell you that you have to either valet park or go in to get your room key first for it to be free. So we drove around a couple of times before just parking in the lot and then finding this out at the front desk. They ended up comping the charge so we did not have to pay it. Everyone was very friendly, everything was clean and I would definitely go there again. It is about a 15 min drive to the strip (with traffic) but there is a lot to do within walking distance. It was a huge room and had its own wet bar and large bathroom facilities. I would recommend valet if possible because if you park in garage you have to walk through the whole casino to get to the elevators and front desk.

Very Good 8.0
Plaza/Downtown Vegas
Our overall stay was really good! For the rates you can't beat it. Yes it's loud if your by Freemont Street, it's older so plumbing is not great but didn't bother us. The food choices are good, 24 hour subway and McDonald's. Hash Hash a go go is awesome, massive food portions too. It gets busy so be advised. The little coffee bar place by check in has coffee, blended drinks, danishes, bagels, etc. Oscars happy hour is on point! We loved it!! CONS: pool very small :( We had an adjoining room with our friends to the left of us. There was also another door adjoining us to a room on the right. Our first morning there we heard a knock on the other door, we ignored it. Then again! So we thought maybe there was an elderly couple or possibly someone needed help, so I opened the door a bit. nope, it was a male in a towel only and he said, I just want to see who my neighbors are! Needless to say we felt very uncomfortable. He didn't even see my husband just me and my female friend. So, we went to front desk after packing up fairly quickly. A very helpful gentlemen named Stacy helped us. He was shocked to hear what happened. The weirdo next to us ended up extending his stay, so they moved us to another room! phheewww! He comped us 1 night of resort fees and gave us a fridge for our room for the remainder of our stay at no charge. That was nice and made us feel like valued guest. Thanks Stacy! Regardless of that little hiccup we had, we will be staying again soon.
