Great weekend in the mountains
My wife and I decided to stay at the Stein Eriksen Lodge for a couple nights for our first time on our last visit to Park City. We were very disappointed in the Hotel's change and/or cancelation policy since we ended up having to move the dates of our arrival. Their customer service however was impeccable once we got there. It is an extremely beautiful lodge although the rooms were very spread out with only outside accessibility (it snowed when we arrived). We rented a suite with an outdoor jacuzzi and although it turned cold while we were there we absolutely loved it. We probably would have liked a little more privacy though since we could observe those next door to us when they were out on their deck. The room had two fireplaces and a kitchen with two bathrooms as well. The accommodations were superb and the beds incredibly comfortable. We splurged for their brunch on Sunday and it was fantastic. My only complaint was there was major construction going on next to our room/building and the tractors started in early in the mornings and woke us up.

Very happy!
Great stay! They have thought of everything you could possibly need and provided it foe you. Then, if there is anything else you can think of, they are happy to help you out. I highly recommend.

Stein Lodge was great. Five star service without being over the top stuff like others in the area.

Stein Ericksen - no longer a gold medal winner.
This is not a 5 Star property. It's tired, and confused; can't decide whether its a conference/party center or a luxury hotel and the luxury hotel is losing. Restaurant food very ordinary, service somewhere between poor and OK. This should be rated a 3.5 star hotel and charge accordingly.
