The check in process took two different things rips. First time we tried to check in @ 4. I was 22nd in line to check in. We were told that no one should rooms were ready. I left my number for them to let us know when it was available. They didn't comp my parking due to the inconvience. Two hours later we come back to the hotel to try to check in again. Front desk said they had been trying to call me. Never happened. At around 10 pm the followings day we go up to our room and we are locked out. I went down there and fronts desk said your reservation was only for one night and we weren't supposedly to be there so they locked us out. It's 10 pm min drive you and no one ever tried to come to our room or call our room or anything. I showed her my email with the reservation clearly showing 2 nights. From the desk then states well we already charged your room for another day which didn't happen either. Front desk finally fixes it and doesn't even offer an apology. Then tries to give me room cards for room 530 which doesn't exist and our room was 508. The carpet wasn't damp. The bedding felt damp. Aunts in the window seal. Just not happy and I never complain. I haven't had an experience like this before. My family's and I will make other arrangements when we come back next years.

At least the food was good?
The hotel, which is less than a block from the convention center, was unprepared for the influx of guests a convention would cause. Rooms were not ready at posted check in time, and the lobby was full of guests waiting for a call yelling them their room would be ready. When we finally got to our room, half of the power outlets in the room did not work, including some of the most important ones. The outlet between the beds did not work, which meamt the lamp and the outlets on the lamp didn't work. The closet outlet, most convenient for the iron didn't work. The ironing board was unable to stand on its own, so the fact that it had to be wedged between the closet and the entrance door made the fact that the closet outlet didn't work very annoying and the iron almost useless. The television was cracked. It worked but had those colorful lines that broken led screens generate when they are broken running across the screen. There was no water pressure in the shower, and it took forever to warm up. We had heard another customer complaining in the lobby, so this was not room specific. Amazingly the food was excellent and the wait staff was great. It was the only thing a hotel that costs as much money as this one did should do that I felt they got right. Overall: would never reccommend.

The outdoor swimming pool was a special treat. The hotel was pricey. Our continental breakfast cost $50.
