The cons: First room stunk like a rotting diaper. Thankfully they had another room available to put us in but the condition of the room was disappointing. No blackout shades and the room faced east so sunlight came in early in the morning. The curtains were stained. A drawer was missing in the sink area. The toilet clogged multiple times. The pros: Peloton bike in the gym, next to a Dunkin, right off the highway, breakfast was good

A Great Hampton Inn-quality Stay!
We highly recommend Hampton Inn & Suites Newtown! Reviews state this is a “basic” Hampton, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it up to the usual excellent Hampton standard. The hotel is attractively appointed, rooms are clean and stocked with all amenities, and the room was quiet. The complimentary breakfast is great and their coffee is really good and available 24 hrs. (so is yea & hot cocoa). Many thanks to the warm and welcoming front desk staff who made our dog, Roger, feel warm and welcome! He was even given a welcome bone package! We appreciate the reasonable pet fee and the open paws policy - lol. Plenty of places to sniff, do his business, and poop bags/depositories all around the grounds. Thank you again - we will be back.
