The rug was all torn up. The bathroom had patch work but no paint. The elevators are half lime green?!

Major Disappointment!!
I booked this room for my daughter's gymnastics coach for our meet in Salina. The outside of the hotel looked great. The lobby was very outdated but ok. When they got to the room, which was room 106, they were very disappointed. The tile in the entry way was broken, the carpet was ripped up and a tripping hazard. This hotel is very run down and needs some major TLC. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water, but the toilet seat was all scratched up. The room seemed clean, but there were thick cobwebs above the curtains. The beds were very old and uncomfortable. The pillows were small and rock hard. I will not be booking this hotel again.

We Will Stay Again
The hotel staff was nice, very personable and easy to get along with. The hotel manager, an older gentleman whose name I can't remember, seemed to take his role seriously and with a degree of pride. Rare to find these days. Main lobby was clean, no messes or any complaints. The rest of the building was also pretty tidy. However, the halls hada pretty rank odor - like a combination of bad left-overs being reheated and tobacco smoke soaked in to the walls. Despite the unpleasant smell in the halls the bedroom (300) itself was clean and free of any malodor. Bed was comfortable and clean, as were the bathroom and shower. There is no central heatingcooling so be prepared for your room fan to kick on and off (its kinda noisy). Thankfully the TV is loud enough to drown out that blaring fan. About 1 mile south of the hotel (on Santa Fe) the town really opens up and reveals its old bones. Lots of eye-appealing architecture and plenty of places to eat or shop. We went to Blue Sky Brewery and Eats. Let-me-tell-ya that place was GOOOOD.

Ok but there are better options in Salina
Stayed here during trip through to Colorado. The hotel is not very well maintained and is showing its age. Coming back through we found a much better option for less money at one of the newer hotels in Salina.
