The entire time there was annoying noise coming from the heating/AC system in the room. Also, when I booked the room it said I was getting a city view, what I got was a view of the back side of adjacent buildings and mechanical equipment.

Beautiful hotel with lovely views! No on-site restaurant open at this time, but their sister hotel, Woodlark, is across the street and is an option. We were within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

Definitely not what I would have expected from a 4 star hotel. The service was poor and they really nickle and dime you for nothing. They charge a $25 early check in fee regardless of whether a room is available or not. Ive never heard a hotel doing this outside special requests. They also have a $20 a day 'resort' fee of some sort for their amenities (there hardly were any) and breakfast. Breakfast was simple brewed coffee and some water. They claim to have pastries available but half the time we were there they didnt have anything available. Pathetic. Service was very disappointing for 4 stars. They claim to offer things like bottle water at check in (they didnt offer it) and 'luxury' things like slippers. When we got to our room and realized this we chatted with the front desk over their message service about it and they said 'we can come down stairs to get this stuff if we want it'. Again, not 4 star service. Very dissappointing. Wont be staying here again. The other reviews speaking of the service were accurate. I should have trusted them before booking.

The pillows were massive and quite uncomfortable. The room was very hot and stuffy. We asked for a room not close to the elevator due to noise, and were put in a room right around the corner from the elevator. We were also on the street side of the hotel (Alder) and was kept awake all night due to the trucks in the Target loading dock a block up the street.

We picked the Dossier for the location and it did not disappoint. Excellent location, close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel is in excellent condition and has great views from the 15th and 19th floors.Note that the restaurant in the hotel is closed at this time (Feb 2022). We ran into a minor issue with the bathroom being clogged and Graham was very helpful in getting us another room for the final night.

Clean and comfortable. Centrally located. Quiet. Valet parking was $45 per night, which is a lot, but worth the piece of mind to know that I had parking and my vehicle was safe. Shower and tub were amazing! No microwave or coffee maker. We were able to walk everywhere for food and coffee, so it wasn’t a big deal.

We always like the Dossier but this time was not as nice as usual. No restaurant so no breakfast. They had drip coffee pastry in plastic bags. No valet parking so drive around downtown to find a street spot? And apparently being a gold member gets you nothing we had the smallest room we’ve ever had there. We do love the property and will probably go back but it did not feel like the luxury it once was.
