We booked a room for four nights as my wife had surgery scheduled at Cleveland Clinic. We booked this place as it had a kitchen in the unit.
The moment we entered here, we realized the lackluster attitude. The backside entry gate didn't have any security. Anyone could get into the hotel without any security card.
Our room did not have a functional stove unit. Simple egg boiling took 2 hours. When we reported the issue, we were told it could not be repaired on the weekend and we need to wait for 2 days.
To our surprise, for morning breakfast, they gave us 2 bars in a plastic bag at the front desk. It was shocking!!
If this is your breakfast, you should put it on your website so people can stay away from your property.
Due to my wife's health condition, we were not in a position to stay at this property. Luckily the lady at the front desk approved our early checkout, but we are still struggling to receive our refund for unused nights. Now, we are being told that the lady at the time of check-out did not put any note, so they are not sure why they should fully refund the money.
On the other side, hotels.com people are also doing the worst job. After receiving the partial refund, they decided to sleep over it for a week. They woke up from their slumber only when we notified the issue and showed a condescending attitude when they cared to process the amount for one night. They showed (Miguel) no interest at all in even trying to get the remaining amount refunded.
