My stay
My stay was good. The hotel staff was great. Breakfast was good. The room was clean however it is a little outdated and the beds were hard, but overall great for price.

Appalling
The check-in person was kind. That's about the best thing I can say about the hotel. The first thing we noticed was a couple of men loitering outside our room, smoking. They seemed menacing and stayed near our door as we were unloading. Very unsettling. The carpet was stained and obviously dirty. The sheets on both beds were dirty. The bathroom wasn't clean. There were old soap marks on the soap dish. There was sticky stuff on the night stand. The toilet was stained, as was the shower. There weren't enough towels for the spaces allotted. We feared there may be bed bugs but didn't see evidence when we searched. The rating on the app was 'good,' so I expected it to be acceptable. Not expecting the Plaza, but thought it would be clean, at least. I would not recommend anyone stay here. At the breakfast, which was from 6 AM to 9 AM, there was a man, presumably an employee, who seemed to be watching everyone as they were getting food. I asked him if he was security. He smiled and nervously laughed, then left. When we checked out, a different woman was working and was not pleasant. She didn't ask how the stay was or thank me or say goodbye. She just said, "you're good." Just pay the extra $20 to stay at the Hyatt Place across the street.

Worse experience ever
As I drove into the parking lot I had a bad feeling. I checked in and proceded to my room. There were several gentlemen staying on the balcony. As I got to the top of the stairs one of them approached me and asked me "did I have a husband" (I could smell alchohol on him). I did not answer, but he asked again and I said yes. I went into my room and tried to calm down. Within in five minutes someone was knocking on my room door (I did not answer). A few more minutes passed and my room phone rang (again I did not answer). I called to the front desk and told the employee at the front desk that I wanted a refund and he told me to come to the front desk. I quickly packed up my belongings and preceded my car as fast as possible. I went to the front desk and I explained to him what happneded and he gave me a refund, but he acted like I was lying or this was normal behavior. I left as quickly as possible. It was midnight and I had just gotten into town, so I had to find another room (which is took me about a hour because everything close by was booked) and did not know anyone there. I have never had anything like this to happen to me. I would not recommend this hotel any one!!!!!!!!!!!!

great price, bad breakfast.
I stayed here during a familys surgery. The free breakfast..... BAD. we arrived just 30 minutes after free breakfast started out of the 4 coffee pots, only 1 had coffee. there were only a few bagels left in the lobby and no one offered to get more. The rooms are old and no one has cleaned under the beds in probably months. there are stains in the bathtub and stuff in the floor. for being there very little during the stay it was great for the price but offer a better breakfast please. the pool closes at 8:30 which is weird because you don't have a chance to get in and unwind after being out.
