Good location.
Good location. Room is large by European standards. Noise was not an issue at least for me. Easy 15 minute walk from AirCoach drop off in central city. Not a luxury hotel but certainly more than adequate.

Incredible location, clean rooms, not much on amenities: No facial tissues, glad it was cool time of year or room would have been hot without A/C, ask for a room on the backside of hotel, street side can be loud, especially on weekends. Staff at reception very nice and helpful

Boutique hotel in great location
This is our second time at Handel's Temple Bar. You can't beat the location and the proximity to all Dublin has to offer. Rooms are clean, but some are smaller than others, so ask about one with a sitting area when you check in. At the beginning of this stay, we found the hotel's restaurant was being renovated and was therefore closed - it was a disappointment and I wished we had been told at the time of booking. It's a great restaurant and one of the reasons we like to stay there. However, the location is ideal for one in search of a good pub, so we didn't have to go far to find a great place to eat and drink! Try The Chorus Cafe next door for wonderful service and a great breakfast, and Darkey Kelly's up the street for a REAL Irish pub (unlike the more touristy places in Temple Bar). Overall, Handel's Temple Bar is a great place to stay when enjoying Dublin.

Exceptional 10.0
Comfort, Cleanliness, and Close to Temple Bar!
I loved staying at Handel's Hotel. The room was comfortable, roomy, and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the location is awesome! It is within walking distance to the Temple Bar District, Christchurch, and more. I highly recommend it!

Poor 2.0
Horrible stay
The location was great. The room, however, was not. My husband, who doesn’t have much hair, took a shower before me. I got in immediately after he was done. Upon entering the shower, I looked at the wall to see dark strands of hair on the wall. It definitely didn’t come from my husband and it certainly wasn’t mine. While I was showering, my husband walked around the room barefooted. He then walked into the bathroom and the bathroom floor immediately had black footprints all over, which I wiped away with a towel. I can’t remember the last time I felt so uncomfortable in a hotel room. Housekeeping isn’t doing their job. If the bathroom and floor were gross, I can only imagine the condition of the sheets, which did not allow me to sleep well. When I complained to the front desk, they just told me “sorry” and gave me my invoice. That’s horrible customer service. I work in the customer service industry and it’s my job to make sure the customer is happy and will want to return. I did not get this feeling from this hotel and would never stay there again or even recommend them to others.
