Magnolia Hotel Dallas Downtown, Dallas

I would rate them a lot higher, BUT check in was not good. Couldn;t understand desk person. Had requested wake-up call---- never happened. The maid showed up to clean room at 8:00 AM, Ala carte service for breakfast was about 40-minute wait for food. Etc. Parking attendant arrival was poor...very poor. We come here every year for last 10 years or so--- I am not sure about next year. Sorry.

I booked on Hotels. Com, the rim was for "sleeping 4" as i said i have 2 adults Ann's 2 kids! The room was NOT set up for 4... but only 2!! I chose this room specifically because it dallass sleeps 4 and had a separate bedroom. They wanted to move me to a single room, 2 queen bed... instead we opted for 1 roll away, they didn't charge me for. They would NOT give me 2. So my 9 and 14 year old had top sleep together on a TWIN bed for 3 nights. Your 3rd party site was wrong on how many it slept which made for a crappy night's sleep!!!!

Looks a lot nicer online...the bed was uncomfortable and room was stuffy. Some random person walked into our room before check out...that was awkward. We think it was the cleaning lady, it was two hours before check out.

We stayed here for our 10-year anniversary. We asked for a room with a view in the notes of our booking, and they gave us a nice, high floor corner room. They also surprised us with sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries! The decor may be outdated, but I would easily stay here again. You can make the A/c as cold as you want, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. 

Everything was just great except parking at night .
