Unsafe and Gross
I haven’t been in Colorado Springs since 2016. This hotel and area used to be quite pleasant. This hotel was dirty. The halls hadn’t been swept on the third floor you could see all the dust and food scraps along the wall. Plus all night a 3rd floor guest was in and out of his/her room every 30 to 45 minutes, slamming the door shut. My hunch is this person was selling drugs all night. TBH, the the only other people I saw in the lobby and other guest areas, appeared to be homeless people. there were several non-guests hanging around the outside of the hotel. Everyone and everything around the hotel was sketchy. The walls and ceilings are very thin and you can hear people walking as if they are stomping back-and-forth. There was not a safety latch to provide an extra lock on the door. This made me feel unsafe while traveling with my family. On the plus side, the check in and check out front desk clerks were both friendly and I enjoyed hearing Christian music being played upon arrival. God bless whoever manages this place… Management needs to become aware and stay alert.
