DISGUSTING!!!!!! WE LEFT 10 MINS AFTER CHECKING IN! I have photos. I have never ever seen a room so disgisting in my life.
When we first got there we found 2 dead worms on the carpet. The beautiful pool on the website was actually dry and dirty. Not one drop of water. We were only given 2 washcloths and 2 towels for 3 guests. The bathroom sink was clogged. Windows were dirty. The clerk came to my room not long after checking in and demanded a damage fee because my daughter came to visit with her dog. I offered to pay the pet fee which was $20 even though the dog wasn't staying. To which the man replied no, not $20, it's $50, and he said it had to be cash. They said they offered free breakfast (I stayed there once before and all guests get free breakfast). They would only give me one breakfast voucher and made me pay for the other two even though there were 3 people registered to my room. This is a non-smoking hotel. But the whole building reeked of pot smoke for our entire stay. Upon checking out they tried to keep my $50 "damage fee" and told me it would be returned to my card. To which i responded, "It didn't come off my card, you all demand cash and I want my cash back." He then threatened to call the police on me. To which I responded, "Call them. I'm sure they'd like to smell all the pot smoke." I was then told I would be put on a black list so I could never stay there again. Trust and believe I wouldn't want to. Needless to say, I got my money back.
Room and lobby were clean, hallways and exterior very dated and need renovated. Pool water had been drained, and was not in use (due to Covid-19). Homeless people hangout and sleep in the courtyard by the pool. Free coffee in the lobby. No exercise room also due to Covid-19. Immediate access to Interstate 95, and close to heart of Richmond.

They didn’t have the smoking room which I reserved. I had to take another room that had a balcony so we could smoke. The balcony had cigarette butts all over it from previous guests and nasty cup filled with butts that had been there for days. The stairwell had old food spilled all over. This was during Covid 19. We sprayed disinfectant throughout the room and bed. The pool was filthy but closed and due to covid no breakfast, not that we would have eaten it.

So so bad quality and service including manger , place and food , I don’t recommend to even an animal to stay there
I checked several sites to make sure there were no weight limits etc for pets for this hotel. After I’d checked in she asked me if we had dogs and I said yes. The websites I checked for your hotel said pet friendly and I came in from that search. She said there was a 25 lb limit. My husband had walked our large but quiet dogs in and she said “no”. She wouldn’t give me my money back. I never got my money back from her and we ended up at a La Quinta with no problem. But I was out almost $75.
