Clean the Place

1. Room smelled bad 2. Black Mold in Shower 3. Half a dust pan of dirt on the floor 4. Slick substance on floor 5. Crystal substance dried on baseboards (dried dog urine) 6. Dirty bathroom needed cleaning 7. Bed linin dirty We cleaned the place ourselves. it is obvious that this room was ready for a customer occupancy. We were located in a building not immediately inside the hotel; kind of like the "south 40". it was a motel set up, with an outside door, not a hotel type of accommodation. If we wanted to stay at Motel 6 we would have. The people working there were nice enough. We asked for a different room upon check-in and were told no rooms were available. The staff brought us a mop and broom as well as new bedding and towels. However, they did not offer to clean the room for us. Breakfast was good enough. It is free hotel breakfast so dont expect the "ritz".
