Great value
Most comfortable bed in a hotel! I slept like a log.

An ok hotel
Overall, it's ok, but there is a very nice hotel in DT Maidenhead vs. being a ways out from the city center. The issues: The toilet didn't work for the first few days of the stay; an old, stained sitting chair was in the room instead of the newer, nicer leather chairs they have; since this is the only business in this area, locals must use it for meetings, dinners, gym/water aerobics, because it was VERY difficult to find a place to eat in the lobby each day and the pool was closed to guests a few times; they NEVER change the breakfast options, which makes it very boring and no other options for breakfast anywhere nearby; they hotel and rooms were very worn with bare spots in the carpets in the public areas and rooms, broken drapery, difficult air conditioning and windows that are locked so the room stays hot and no fresh air. The positives: the area is nice, it's all residential; the staff is kind and tries to be helpful; it's a nice walk (2 miles) to the city center for shopping and catching the train.

As britishers would say "not a bad" deal
I was in UK to attend a wedding in Windsor. Chose the hotel for its reputation. The external appearance was a bit wanting. The floor rugs appeared to be old and stained. The front desk lady was very business like and could have smiled in between a few sentences. Was not to as welcoming as am used to in USA. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities I was looking for. The shower was great with good water temperature. It is located about a mile from the town center. no public transportation was available. However the walk to the town center was pretty. There is a gas station next door for basic supplies. They had a special area for kids to play near the restaurant The signs for having the traditional Fish and Chips was very inviting especially as it was Friday! however, after spending about 19 pounds, was disappointed by the food. should have ordered something else, on second thought. Morning breakfast was not included in my reservation though I did try it. The lady staff helping us sit was again, did not smile, was too preoccupied and appeared abrupt--may be having a bad Sunday. Reasonable choices of food, cereals and fruits. Getting a cab was very easy.

Quite neighborhood easy access to local sites
We tend to stay here when visiting Maidenhead. Comfortable, although single bed is a little small for the two of us. Kettle and tea/coffee available in room, and breakfast is full on English and continental. Room has great A/C -- which is needed in hot summer days. Quite neighborhood with easy access to downtown and bars/pubs/restaurants (watch out parking is usually pay, so take change). Also vert close to railway station with fast trains to London.

Got in late 10pm and we still could get a meal and a few drinks. Gym was good.
