    Overpriced hell

Terrible place. Service was absolutely rubbish. The rooms are over priced. No amenities are unbelievable bad . So noisy hardly had any sleep. Rooms look like a hostel. Would have had a better experience at Bates motel. Would never stay again

    Try somewhere else...…

overall I was so disappointed with my stay at this hotel. No tv, kettle or iron facilities in the room. When I asked the receptionist about this, I was told it is company policy not to put a tv in the room as the want you to explore the local area. But surely that is upto the PAYING guest to make that DECISION????

No tv, very little storage space. No tea and coffee in rooms. Issue with ‘drain’ smell in bathroom. Staff were delightful though

    I wouldn’t stay again

Only good thing was that we could check in early. Cracked and broken bathroom window which we couldn’t close, dust all over floors, stain from something down side of bedroom side table, mirror no where near any sockets, no TV, shower blocked so water level rose to ankles whilst showering, unable to change shower temp as broken. Finally had to to pay £5.25 to get our bags looked after for 2 hours, I have never been charged by any hotel in my life to look after a suitcase.

  • 8.0.Very Good

    Good, basic, characterful hotel

Lovely receptionists, couldn't be more helpful. Good location although very noisy outside on a Friday night, till the wee hours of the morning. Room very spacious but basic, comfy bed but cheap laminate flooring, no tv and slightly sparse deco lacking warmth. But overall a good experience in general.

    Definitely only a 3 star....

The hotel is in a great location, and we had a sea view room which had nice shabby chic/beach front furniture, a large comfortable bed and was spacious. We had several large windows to look out onto the beach, but unfortunately they were that dirty you could not see through them. Never again will we book without checking reviews and the room itinerary... It's only the second hotel we have visited that did not have coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and the first ever not to have a TV ! Yes there were tea and coffee flasks in reception (only tea later at night); but who wants to have to leave their room for a cuppa... The room key-card did not work and after several attempts by staff to remedy, we were eventually given a code to access. Supposedly we should have been given vouchers for our breakfast to show staff in the morning, but were not, and had to prove by showing my booking email. There was only continental breakfast available and no choice, simply a plate brought out for each guest; that said it was right up our street and we loved it. The owner make think they are saving money by not having the usual facilities, but in the end they will lose out due to lack of repeat business; especially for the price charged.

    Wont be going back.

Disappointed? 1st time staying in a "Micro Room". We booked 4 nights but only stayed 3 nights.
