Consistently comfortable
We visit Vancouver a couple times a year and always make this our destination hotel. You would be wise to do the same.

Best stay anywhere ever.
My wife and I are frequent travelers, and we are not shy admitting that we are hotel snobs. This was one of the best hotel experiences ever. We received a complimentary upgrade at check in. Joseph at the front desk was amazing, and went way beyond that of most in welcoming us and introducing us to the hotel amenities. We had a late snack in the lobby bar, and immediately became friends with Joe our server. He single handedly generated our afternoon itinerary with all of the "must do" things. After an amazing afternoon doing all of the things Joe recommended, we headed straight to the lobby bar, and guess what? Joe was now our bartender, what an amazing employee. We asked Joe where we should eat, he through out several suggestions, then disappeared only to return with one of the hotel concierge's, Sue. Oh my god, another hotel angel and gem of an employee. Sue gave us a list of recommendations, as well as distance, safety etc. Once we picked later, we visited Sue, who then made us reservations. Once seated at the restaurant, the waiter delivered an amazing shot of soup, courtesy of Sue. Really? Who does that. But wait, we got back to our room, ice bucket filled, flowers that we bought at the market had been transferred to a real vase. Not only that, but turn down service scattered red rose petals everywhere, so romantic!! But wait, went to check my email on my iPad, and the turn down service cleaned the glass, AND left me a new wipe cloth unwrapped. Who does that? Stay!

Love this place!
We first stayed at this hotel about a year ago, and it was so wonderful, I was worried that it might not be as great as I remembered it. I needn't have worried. The staff are incredibly helpful, and really seem to care about your comfort and well-being. The rooms are very comfortable, luxurious.I love the pool, and this time I had an amazing massage in the spa. The cafe is excellent- didn't get to the restaurant this time around, but did have some lovely snacks and tea in the lobby bar. What a wonderful place to stay in Vancouver. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in great location
Beautiful hotel in a great location in downtown. Staff was very friendly and even sent us a surprise cake for my birthday. Concierge was extremely helpful (esp Sue!) in making dinner reservations and assisting in sight seeing plans. The hotel restaurant Hawksworth was very good and their craft cocktails were even better. The salt water pool was heated and a good size for lap swimming. Reflections, the pop up bar/lounge for winter, was quite the happening spot. The speakeasy, Prohibition, was a cool spot for after dinner drinks. The room was quite spacious and clean. Nice large tub in the bathroom with separate RAI head shower. We rented a car so getting around was not an issue to farther destinations. But it was an easy walk to various spots within the city. Cabs are abundant if needed. Lots of high end shopping nearby including a mall just next door. Overall, we were very happy with our choice and would recommend this hotel.
