great place to stay while touring amish area
great old hotel. being that it is old the rooms are small. Next time will go for the queen deluxe for more room and a frig and microwave. All staff very friendly. Rooms and hotel clean. Walking distance to 3 restaurants. 10 min form Berlin which has much more to do. But berlin didnt seem to have any restaurants open later in the evening. Hotel Berlin had common areas to sit and catch up with friends and have cocktails and apps. It was very relaxing.

Excellent Stay!
Really enjoyed our stay. It was a unique experience staying at the longest continuous running hotel in Ohio. The rooms were old, traditional style, super clean and in great condition. Being in the middle of downtown can lend itself to traffic noise, but the Air Conditioner fan seemed to drown out most of it and I slept well. A lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby!

Millersburg hotel was interesting
When we arrived after 8pm the front desk had left us with a code to get our key out of the lock box. That went smoothly. But after driving 11 hours to get there. It would have been nice to advise that a teeny little lot was out back of hotel. That kinda sucked trying to figure it out. As it’s in a Bank parking lot and nothing listed in the lot as hotel parking. So after circling aimlessly we saw a small sign that said hotel parking. We tried to enter around back through the taverns entrance, but to our disappointment not an option. So park out back lug all your luggage and personal belongings to the front, yep the front of the hotel. Ok So finally we enter this hotel like from the movie “The shining” it was a creepy yet very cool little look to it. There is an elevator that leads to even more of an old moldy/musky smell but hey it’s really old. So come with the expectations **Now one thing they don’t put in the brochure or online. Is there is not any cable and very splotchy internet service. If you don’t have streaming service like Hulu or Netflix then you will not be able to watch the Laptop size 12-14” tv screen. We did but hell it was easier to watch our phone screen. For the cleanliness the bathtub super small was clean, the bedding not so much stains on sheets and sheet protector. Clean but stained. The ac worked but didn’t cool very well as a window ac unit. Overall 2 stars the Tavern tho amazing great food and service 5 stars. Check out easy.

This hotel has comfortable beds and clean rooms. However, the internet is terrible. They do not have cable tv. They use a Roku stream. At first it wouldn't work at all, then only sporadically. What you need to be the most aware of though is that the traffic noise is unbelievably loud. I didn't think this would be a problem since I use earplugs and we bring a white noise machine, but they did nothing to dull the noise of tractor trailer trucks, dump trucks, lots of ordinary trucks with loud mufflers and even several emergency vehicle sirens.
