    $ was right
    I arrived very late and was happily greeted by the front desk, room was spacious, furniture was tattered, and older, but I only sleep in my room when traveling not hanging out in it, bath was updated and clean bed was fine. It appeared as tho I was in an older part of the hotel. Price was right and met my needs.I will recommend it to others and will stay there again next year. The shuttle service to the casino was an extra bonus and friendly.

    Great location
    Hubby and I have stayed here before. Love the hotel and location. This time we were in a side building which we liked. But only issue the bathroom heat light had no light we’ll actually missing The Whole thing just the hole with lots of spider webs. I’m very afraid of spiders so it was pretty creepy for me. If they fixed that I would of had no issues.

    A bit hostile about their linens
    So we are on a cross-country road trip from Texas to Maryland, and after having spent two nights on an air mattress in the car, we decided we wanted to wake up in the Smokies on a bed. We found a good deal on Hotels App and it was claiming half price. Of course the actual price the hotel promoted on their sign was only twenty above what we were offered but we were ok. The place is old and it smelled HEAVILY of a chemical in the front lobby. It was not pleasant but not nauseating like bleach or vinegar. More like a hand soap or candle. The first off thing I noticed was their penchant for telling you that if something is found to be missing, you’ll be charged fair market value for it. Ok... way to make guests feel welcome. I almost felt nervous to touch anything and be accused it was missing. There were the normal number of hand towels but we had only three body towels for a king suite. The room states in two more places about being charged for missing linens and other items so I’m not going to be surprised if they do try it. The front desk clerks were kind enough but there was someone who was outside smoking who we suspect may have been a groundsman or mechanic who was not at all abashed about staring. The tv was tiny and there were minimal channels offered. There was a fridge and microwave and a place to hang clothes. The couch was a pullout. It was a huge room and it would have been nice with some updated features and more hospitality.

    When they cleaned the room all they did was leave some towels. I think the price was way over what it should have been.

    It was great, brought my daughter and husband first time for them in Cherokee and we all enjoyed ourselves.
