Excellent all around from the room to the staff to the design of the hotel itself. Pure class. Actually reminds me of a Ritz Carlton. Beautiful. Only thing I would work on is their restaurant Radii. Needs better food and friendlier staff.

One of the loveliest parts of Melbourne
I spent my birthday at this elegant and peaceful hotel. There are some good walks nearby, with the cathedral, Parliament House, old Treasury building and Fitzroy Gardens nearby. A walk through East Melbourne, across the park from the hotel, with historic information downloaded from the City of Melbourne website is an interesting thing to do. Also, a stroll to Pellegrini's (at 66 Bourke Street), one of Melbourne's oldest and best Italian cafe's, is worthwhile.

Pretty property relatively centrally located. Check-in process and support were great, but food, housekeeping and check-out left A LOT to be desired. Won’t be staying again. Not representative of Hyatt, and especially not Park Hyatt. Save yourself time, money and aggravation: stay at the Grand Hyatt instead.
