Poorly managed and run down!
Front desk was sloppy and unresponsive to specific issues with the room. This place is run down and very poorly managed. Spend a few extra $ and go somewhere else. This hotel should be avoided at all costs! Thoroughly dissapointing experience.

Great rate for the area, lacks cleanliness
Looks fine from the outside and is a good location. However, the lobby and hallways smell like sewage or gas. Another customer complained about it as I was checking and all the clerk said was she had "submitted a ticket" and explained the manager had to handle it. The odor was very strong and I would have considered it an emergency. The room appeared clean and didn't smell as bad as the hallway so I stayed. It was a little noisy from the street traffic, but that is a very busy area. The bed was not very comfortable. After showering in the morning, I noticed the area of the toilet at the bottom where the bolts are, was completely covered with urine. If I had seen that when I first got there, I would have left. I should have taken a picture and reported it but I was running late. I also noticed the smell in the hallway had gotten worse overnight.

At 11 PM I was bitten by an ant. I stripped the bed and didn't see any others, so I went back to sleep. I was awakened at 2 by another ant bite. I again checked the bed and didn't see any other ants so I went back to sleep, but did not sleep well. Checking out, I had a long wait for a guest services rep. I decided to get out of the line that was building up to get coffee. They were out. When it was my turn I politely told the agent that my room had ants (African American woman in her 20s with long straight hair) but she did not speak or respond. As we were finishing, I asked, "did you hear about the ants?" She said, "yes". I said, "the ants were biting me in bed and kept me up." She said, "did you call maintenance?" I did not see the need to needlessly bother her any further. Management should consider retraining staff like this. Personally, I would not let them work for me. The place is not bad, my guess is that they are poorly managed and perhaps don't pay their exterminator on time. I will choose another nearby hotel next time. I don't sleep well when being bitten by ants and I don't think anything will be done about it by the hotel team.
