Despite its rich history, the hotel is exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. When I booked the hotel, I also asked them to make a reservation for us at Drusie & Darr, which they kindly arranged. The restaurant itself was excellent and made our stay even more memorable. The housekeeping service was especially outstanding. Our room and bathroom were both spacious, and the bathtub was wonderful. The hotel is also ideally located within walking distance of many of Nashville’s main attractions. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Nashville.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful and conveniently located Hermitage. However, contrary to most of the other hotels I’ve visited around the world, the Hermitage charged us over about half of the daily room charge as a placeholder for possible incidentals! These charges were placed before we checked out and not deleted when we paid all of the incidentals upon checkout. When I discovered huge unexplained charges on my credit card, I called the hotel only to discover their phone number was disconnected the entire day. I finally reached the hotel today, four days after we checked out. I was informed that the extra charges would “fall off” after a few days. I’m still waiting, Interest accrues on these fake charges. This disreputable business practice should be illegal.
