About Savoy Hotel, Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires hotel near the Obelisk with restaurant and bar

Downtown Buenos Aires

Since 1910, Savoy Hotel in downtown Buenos Aires has been a sophisticated property, and is a 3-minute walk from Corrientes Avenue's theaters and tango venues. A 15-minute stroll farther down the vibrant street takes you to the towering, emblematic monument, the Obelisk.

Puerto Madero waterfront

With a 10-minute drive, you can drop in on shops, restaurants, and nightlife along a bridge-lined canal in Puerto Madero district. A 6-minute ride away lies Plaza de Mayo, with its prominent 19th-century buildings and centuries of political history.

French-inspired meals

The design of the hotel's Neo-Baroque facade carries into the Imperio lobby bar, where you can sip a cocktail under high, ornate ceilings with elegant chandeliers. A workout could be followed by French-inspired fare at Las Manzanas Restaurant or the complimentary buffet breakfast.

Modern design

Sleek, European design is found in the 98 guestrooms, with natural wood floors and soundproofed windows. There's a flat-screen TV, and you can grab a drink from the minibar and check the day's email with the free WiFi, before turning in with your choice of pillow.

Loved the history of this beautiful hotel
I loved this hotel. Filled with ornate lobbies, a cool bar, clean, comfortable room, hardwood floors, and a superb breakfast. It’s very near the Congress building on a busy, noisy street, but it does have fairly good soundproofing. The staff are wonderful. I had to stay eight days as I awaited an international package delivery, but it was a delightful eight days. I’d stay here again for sure. It was great.
