Staying close to Centro Santiago
Very helpful staff, Only a few blocks to Plaza de Armas, a fine museum, plus the real city (not a rich suburb).

Good spot to sleep quietly
Feels like an apartment when you walk in to lobby, but room feels like a 3 star hotel. Spacious, clean, big bathroom, balcony, ac. Comfortable.

Park Plaza missed the simple things.
The hotel was fine. I liked it, though it wasn't a true hotel as there were no amenities outside of the room itself, but an apartment rental turned daily service. Which was fine. The downfall, which in and of itself was pretty outrageous, was a local call (which I thought was a toll free call in Chile) cost me $17US. One phone call. That sends a very clear message to the consumer that Park Plaza Hotel Santiago will, literally, stick it to you in the most unreasonable ways. Also, given that there isn't a restaurant to dine in at this apartment building, your breakfast is delivered to your room either the afternoon before or the morning of. The breakfast itself was awful and needs to be improved which can happen just by simplifying it - maybe fresh fruit, breads/croissants, tea/coffee and cheese/coldcuts.

Great Stay
Great stay, close to everything. They didn't clean my room once while I was there. In the loft the top balcony door couldn't be locked, but this was not an issue as we were high up. The 'gym' was in the next building and not well equipped. Couldn't find any dish cloths to dry dishes or wash them. Overall a great place with helpful English-speaking staff.

Trip to Chile
Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms are small but clean and good enough for 2 people. Bathtub curtains and towels were very worn out, ripped and with stains on them. Shower water temperature changes often. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day. It would have been nice to have fruits and some natural juices.
