Parkhotel Den Haag, The Hague
Cozy and Convenient Hotel
Parkhotel was located within a central retail shopping area, very close to the top attractions of The Hague (Binnenhof, Mauritshuis). It was a 20 minute walk from the train station along an easy-to-follow route. There is a tram that runs nearby, but I walked all over the city rather than use public transport. Breakfast was included in my rate and the options included crepes, eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, fruits, yogurt and cereal. It was what I would consider standard for European breakfast offerings. The staff at the front desk was always very friendly and helpful. I was thankful that when I arrived an hour early, I was immediately able to check-in. The rooms are small by American standards, so don't expect to have a lot of space to move around, but there was a bathtub in my room rather than a small shower. I did find the hotel to be rather quiet and I never heard any other guests. It was comfortable, albeit small, and I would definitely book this hotel again.

Rough start but good ending. Would stay again.
I had reservations for 5 nights. The first day I checked in the room I had smelled like bo. I called the manager and he came up and agreed the room smelled bad. They moved me to a deluxe room which was beautiful but said it was only for one night. I did not want to unpack not knowing my room situation. The next day they moved me to a new room similar to the first. It also had a bad smell same as the first but a little less. I called the front desk But this time the person I spoke to said the room was okay by her manager. I said I didn't care if was okay' d the room smelled bad. She said they didn't have any rooms and asked what I wanted. I said I was tired of having the conversation I would stay in the room but to know my experience is not good. I'm not asking for anything just giving feedback. The next day the manager called and upgraded me to a new room which was very nice. I was happy the hotel cared about my experience and did the right thing. The rest of my stay was very pleasant. I would stay there again.

Great little hotel
Very friendly and efficient staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Location is quite central, but as it is located in the side streets, very quiet. Also has a small garden to relax.

Lovely lobby. Staff very helpful. Room nice, but very small. More suited to one person than two.
