The Belvedere, the belle of Prague
My stay at the Belvedere was comfortable and the amenities were very nice like free breakfast. I enjoyed the service of the Thai massage, and Michal was so helpful with information and directions. I really had a nice stay here.

My experience at this hotel would have been better if there was air conditioning. The room was very hot, even with the small fan. This made it hard to sleep at night. Also, the wifi only worked on the first day. After that, the wifi did not work well. When we got there, we noticed that the room was not cleaned properly because someone's socks were laying around. On the bright side, the hotel was in a great location and the Belcredi Bistro staff was very polite. The hotel is about a ten minute drive to Old Town Square and there are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. Decent breakfast.

Really nice
I was there alone, the room was small but big enough for 1 person, so that’s just ok. The hotel is in a really good spot, lots of things close to the hotel. I was able to check in sooner so that’s cool. The only bad things are that the wi-fi was pretty bad. My phone/ iPad kept disconnecting whichever was really annoying and when it worked properly it was pretty slow. The other bad think about this hotel was that there were NO POWER OUTLETS in my room. I mean NONE. At least give us 2/ room. The breakfast was really good, lots of things to choose from.

NO AIR CONDITIONING! No electrical plugs. I had to unhook lamps to charge phone, iPad and Apple Watch. No Kleenex in room. Decent breakfast included, and hotel is priced reasonably. I survived with the room fan in 78 degrees, but it was going up to 90 as I left Prague Good value in shoulder seasons. Avoid in summer.

Good stay in Prague
Excellent hot and cold breakfast served every morning. There is a tram stop about 150 meters from the hotel. The neighborhood is quite busy during the day. A restaurant is located on the first floor of the hotel. Make sure you check the weather before booking your stay. Some rooms do not have air conditioning and are unbearable if the temperature is over 74 degrees Fahrenheit (23.33 °C). These rooms have small fans in them which only blows the hot air around. If you are visiting in the winter or fall this shouldn't be an issue. There is a laundromat down the street, a Tabac store nearby where you can buy your tram tickets and a few restaurants nearby. Hotel was quiet during our stay, there were no issues. The hotel has free WiFi, but it is a hit-and-miss depending on what part of the hotel you are staying in.

Senior Citizen Unfriendly
Housekeeping erratic.Housekeeping came twice in the late PM to make up my room . The declined because I was back in the room and did not want to leave.Very dangerous for the elderly I am 85 but very active .BUT,the bathroom is extremely dangerous.Very slippery floors, even when dry.Bathtub with high sides, unbelievably slippery and no hand holds.I put a bath towel in the tub every day to provide some stability for me to stand in the tub.Held onto the shower pipe for dear life to prevent me from falling. And they have no rubberized bath mats at all to provide safety .An accident, and a bad one waiting to happen They are in an old Viennese building with many marble steps. There were no hand rails ,so going up and down the stairs was scary and worrying. The elderly do have balance problems and a few times I thought I was going to fall on the marble steps. Finally, the edges of some of their carpeting ,particularly in front of the breakfast room ,is not tacked down presenting a tripping hazard .And,Itripped on it .Same thing in other areas In my judgment the hotel is a danger for seniors.Seniors should get rooms with showers, and not tubs.Much safer
