Quality hotel
Really great hotel, definitely the nicest in the Douglas area. The rooms are a bit small; and not a huge fan of the tiny bathroom with pretty much a see through door. But the design does manage to make a small room feel much bigger. I used to live local to the area; so it was very handy location for me. I didn’t use the spa or gym on this occasion; but can say from pst experience both are of excellent quality.

Wonderful staff, accommodations, and location. Plenty of dining choices close by. Only comment about all accommodations in Ireland/UK is that there are not electrical outlets in the bathrooms.

Short break in. Cork
Enjoyed our stay at the Maryborough. Everything we expected and beautiful weather to sit outside and enjoy their lovely gardens. Breakfast was great with plenty of variety. Would have no worries recommending the Maryborough.

Once you learn the tricks, very enjoyable!
Impeccable setting, blending traditional with modern. Restaurant service was hit-and-miss, with team-forgetting of our dessert, yet friendly. Room had no vents or exhaust, so 'everything' stays inside - front desk offered a fan. Things got better when we found that the door to the porch 'tilted', which solved our ventilation concerns. There are no electrical receptacles on the side of the bed - front desk offered and extension cord for my C-PAP machine. Overall, a good experience (now that we know the tricks). We would definitely stay again.
