Good hotel very central
Good hotel very central and very close to Metro station. Breakfast is continental but enough for a food breakfast and everything of good quality, only issue is coffee never being fully hot. Room was comfortable, bed very comfortable. We had an issue with the shower head in our room, reported and was ignored, it was resolved on second mention but we did have two days with a weird shower.

Very central area, only 3 minutes walk out to the sea, and not too noisy despite the pub being opposite the hotel. Lovely rooms. Didn’t have the continental breakfast due to price, but there are lots of options for breakfasts nearby. Would stay again!

Great location and staff
Excellent location, friendly and efficient staff, and breakfast was cold but good selection (especially if you like the sweeter pastries and muffins). A lot of wear and tear in room with carpet/furniture stains, worn carpet, etc., but very clean. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great Location but not for early sleepers
Location is superb right outside Baixa-Chiado Metro Station and lots of sights etc within walkable distance. Bed was really comfortable and room a good size though some aspects were a little tired. Complementary water on arrival nice but only two teabags. These were not replaced. I don’t think its a 4 star hotel, certainly not like any other I’ve stayed with that rating. It’s a good 3 star in my opinion. The reception staff were never particularly welcoming. No smiles, just looks. The only downside is the popular pub opposite. There is noise until around midnight which will be heard if you are in a room at the front of property like I was. I stuck headphones on so for me it was ok but I am sure there are other good quieter hotels in same area for same value/cheaper.
