Fantastic for the price
Yuri, who was working the evening shift, was absolutely amazing!! Long story short, the hotel was having internet problems, but he went far and beyond the call of duty to help me get online since I had to do a video conference. ...also, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hotel is located in a superb spot, near nightlife and not too far from the Old City or the bus terminal. The only bad point was that there is construction going on next door, so I awoke to the sound of bulldozers and screeching metal. (That's not the Palatin's fault, of course)

Poor1.0 / 5
The first night was in a room on The top floor of this 4 story hotel without an elevator, without adequate heat. The window had been left open all day. Management in response to my complaint refunded1/2 of my first night. Next door is a construction site starting at about 6:30am. The rooms are being renovated and the halls were full of furniture. The breakfast is meager but ok. The day staff tries to be helpful. The overnight staff less so. Perhaps once renovations the hotel will be better.

A decent budget choice
A budget-conscious place to stay. It can be noisy late, especially Thursday and Friday nights. Very convenient and helpful staff. Fridge in room.
