Special place.
We had a fantastic stay. The room was right on the bluff with a spectacular view of the cliffs and the ocean. We were only supposed to be be there one night before moving on, but it was such a special place we stayed over.

The keys to the room never worked. I went back twice to tell staff. She eventually had to let us into a room with a master key… that wasn’t even clean. So then we went into the room next door. We weren’t provided any keys. God forbid we had to leave the hotel room and come back. The AC and fridge weren’t even plugged in and on. It was 90 degrees in that room when we got there. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Not satisfied at all!!
The sink and toilet were slow to drain. The air conditioner and refrigerator were not working. The customer service was horrible. The breakfast was cereal box and no milk or bowls. What was absolutely disgusting and unbelievable was that after my neighbor in the room next to mine had been able to open my door when I had made sure it was locked. It was sadly an emergency but still unacceptable that he was able to push open my locked door. The night staff was told this and did nothing. Lastly the blood that was left on the upstairs walkway that dripped down to the bottom walkway from the night before and stayed there until who knows when, but was still there when it was time to check out is what makes me give a bad review. The day staff took no more care into my complaints as the night shifts. I believe I should be refunded and given some complimentary nights at a different location. This location should be shut down and only makes Wyndham and Hotels.com look bad and trashy. These are pictures of the blood from the night before just left there in front of my room door and others. Disgusting!!

Could have been better
We arrived later in the evening and it was 105 out. Rooms have small wall ACs and the curtain was open which had the room nasty hot and the ACs couldnt cool them off. We tried to cool off in the pool but the water was 80 degrees and green, we got in knowing we had showers for next cool off option. Rooms were clean for most part but toilet had ring and 2nd room we got next day due to sweating to death from terrible cooling system had tiles falling off in shower which means water in the wall. The manager Carmen was helpful Saturday night by finally putting us in new room after telling her we were all sweating to death and felt heat exhaustion. This place needs pool fixed and new AC units or at least service them so they work correctly.

Arrived at office, front desk staff person was busy in back room. Check in went fine, asked about breakfast (in office 8am-10am) and pool condition (open til 9pm), given room on 2nd floor (river view) near stairs. Entered room (door was sagging, difficult to open and close), found bed stripped, unmade. Called front desk (long time to answer), was told would be given room on ground floor. Walked back up to office, again called out and waited for desk person to appear from back room. Given new room keys, walked back to collect luggage and transfer to new room... card keys did not open door. Walked back up to office, had to call out again to get service. Given card key to another room, finally settled into acceptable room 45 minutes after check-in. Decided to wait until after dinner to cool off in pool. Pool did not show any signs of recent maintenance -- water cloudy, green algae on sides and bottom, debris floating on surface. Filtration system did not appear to be operating. Used net to skim off entire surface and collect water bugs, then swept sides and bottom with pool brush in shallow end so we could at least enter the water and get some cool relief after a very hot day of travelling. Did not swim or go under water, made sure to take a long shower and rinsed out our suits after. Found office closed at 8:25am, even though was told breakfast hours started at 8am. Breakfast consisted of selection of cereals (but no milk) and fresh fruit, water but no juice. Not a good stay
