Ok for the price
The doors are painted with flat white paint which does not clean, leaving the place looking a bit run down. Similarly, the carpet had many small stains. Nothing too terrible, just worn out. Still, I could see the room had been cleaned as well as possible and I felt safe there. The price was ideal and worth putting up with a bit of dinginess.

Stay Away! Spend the extra money to go anywhere el
The hotel was in horrible condition. The doors leading out were covered in pigeon poop from nesting birds but no effort to clean up. Our “pet friendly” room was in terrible condition, the carpet was filthy and was destroyed by other animals. They charge $20 per pet, per night (not noted in listing) and clearly it is used as revenue only. I have stayed in some interesting places before, but this was the worst. Side note- the ladies at the front desk were all amazing and helpful. The hotel conditions are not their fault!

The cleanliness was not up to par. But things can sometimes be overlooked. I think I was more disturbed by the reaction of the front desk clerk how stated she would yell at the house keepers for doing a bad job. I expected something different like a discount or a coffee coupon. Then hotels.com didn’t send the payment I made over it the front desk clerk didn’t know how to retrieve it making it look like we were a no show. She then wanted to charge me again for the room even though the fee was taken from my acct. the clerks response again was we will call the booking agency and yell at them for not doing their job. Truly I felt like her lazy attitude and blaming and berating to be the biggest issue. She even told us the free breakfast was crap but we have waffles! I know help is hard to find but seriously - ugh!! The bed was clean the shower was clean - we avoided the rest of the room and breakfast was pretty good just look out for the front desk clerk.

Poor
The sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed, the staff was unaware of what was going on and unaware of our reservation when we checked in. Then they harassed us to check out one day after our stay when we had paid for 2 nights. I wonder what would have happened to our belongings if someone had not been in the room when they knocked. There is a lot of touch up that needs done and the rooms that are shown are scarce and are not the ones that they place regular patrons in.

Not impressed.
Biggest issue - one of the exit doors had its security lock removed. Just a gaping hole. The rooms clean enough, but in very poor condition. Only 1 of the 4 bulbs in the light above the sink was working. The plating on the fixture had flaked away long ago and portions of the fixture had acquired some sort of black discoloration. The door and frame looked like a dog had tried to scratch its way out of the room. Bedside clock not even plugged in The shower head was shot. No matter what setting I was on, the water mostly dribbled out of the bottom of the shower head. Their “Hot Breakfast” consisted of a toaster selection and a waffle maker. Everything else cold. Reasonable selection otherwise.

Complaint
The bathroom fan in the room backing to our bathroom vibrated in our room and made a very disturbing noise. It was on for an extended period of time. The concern expressed to the employee at the desk gave us no comfort. He wouldn’t come to our room to hear for himself. Another room was offered to us. We were already bedded and were not comfortable with a room switch late in the evening. Some excuse was given about in ability to give us any compensation which soured my attitude to use “8” again.
