Walking distance to downtown Miami, and close proximity to the cruise port. Hotel is located in the old black Harlem district with many previous black authors, artists, musicians, sports figures, and actors who have stayed there. Very impressive history of this hotel. Staff very friendly, in a bit of a less favorable area but overall room was clean, hotel was secure (they kept doors locked most of the time) and they had a limited continental breakfast in the morning. Hotel was definitely smaller that I was expecting but overall was impressed for the price. Staff really seems to care and make the best of everyone’s stay. Will stay again for sure

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay at Dunn Josephine. The entire staff provided a warm welcome upon my arrival. Storing my bags before check-in and after check-out was not an issue. My room was beyond comfortable and very clean. The bed was hard to get out of. lol. It goes without saying I will definitely be coming back. I have found my new go to hotel in Miami. Did I mention the historical impact of the hotel? Go see for yourself. 10/10

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed chitchatting with them, asking for directions and recommendations for delicious food in the area. Hotel location is great! It’s very close to many attractions in the area. Takes about 10min by car to Bayside Market. The hotel itself is very charming! The rooms are themed and a good size. Bed was super comfortable! The only part that we didn’t quite like were the pillows but that might just be a matter of preference. Thank you for a very pleasant stay Dunns Josephine hotel!
