I wish to praise the highest standard of 2 Ritz Carlton Staff Mr Johnathan and Mr Segar. 1) On 3rd June 2018,upon reaching Ritz Carlton kl,my parents realised that their passports were left inside the safe at the malacca * H hotel we stayed. We were lost and we relate the matter to Mr Johnathan(reception staff) and he assist us to contact the hotel staff from *H hotel and the *H hotel staff were quick to pish the matter to their admin stafff were not working on sunday and it isnwhen we asked what are the options and the *H hotel staff said it will take 3 days for them to send the passport to us within malaysia. *H hotel staff obviously were not interested in assisting us. 2) we then seek assistance from Mr Segar (Concierge) he calm us down and contacted the *H hotel staff and guided them to get someone to send over the passport on the same day as Mr Segar knows that passport is very important and went beyond his call of duty to ensure we receive service and assurance of thw highest quality and the passport did reach Ritz Carlton the same day. Not to mentioned the standard of the 2 bedroom hotels suite we booked is the best I have stayed Thus far. Some hotels have good rooms with incompetent staffs,likewise some hotels have good staffs with not so good rooms.Here at Ritz Carlton they have the best of both worlds, i normally leave comments like *keep it up, but for this instance, i will for once comment "the hotel that exceeds your expectations and beyond.

Worst ever Ritz Calton.
I am a gold member, I stayed many time in Ritz Calton in every country but this is the worst ever. The room smells like a bar everytime u walk in(cigarette smell) . The bathroom has molds and the carpet is like 20 years old. I complaint to the receptionist and I even asked for the manager. Everytime their response is the manager is not on duty how can I help you. After I told them about the situation, they will act like wow this is unheard off. But still no follow up. Ritz Calton in KL is far the Worst. I tot its worth the time with my family to have real luxury moment but its terrible. Asked for a kids bowl from the waiter, they will have the standard, we don't have. But when asked from the more seniors(wearing coat) they can find it. I am just absolutely disgusted. I rather spent the money else where. It maybe different for single room but I booked a 3 bedroom suite. Absolutely disappointed. Wasted quality time with my family. I wish I have taken some photos. I have only videos but I can't load them in here. Only photos allow. Beware, its not the Ritz Calton you would be expecting.

quick check inn service, warm, casual, personal and hospitable staff. large and neat rooms. I did not know much information or was not mentioned when checking. Like how you can reach reception? During your stay you can get free drinks like juice. that had been told by one of the permanent staff. Unfortunately! I didn't think breakfast was special. I didn't get much service and was pretty messy. no sugar or salt and pepper at the table. I have to ask one of the management members if I can get it. that is already too late for a 5 star hotel. you have so many staff there at the ministry. what they mainly do is to clean up dirty plates. without the service level. I'll be back and I'm not interested in the food outlets. it is expensive and nothing special. I would like to thank all employees of the reception and concierge department. top

Suite was spacious. Concierge was helpful. Staff at reception could not inform me re services provided when asked as this was our first visit here. Good variety of food at breakfast. Service staff were helpful. Overall however the suite experience was a disappointment. Door knob to the toilet in the kitchen fell when touched. Luckily my husband moved his foot away or it could have fractured his toe (heavy) The knob which flushes the toilet in the master bedroom was broken. Bare wires were hanging down from the study table. The tea/ coffee was not replenished on both days after the room was cleaned. We had to ring for more beverages and towels. There was no bar fridge where we could have snacks. The big kitchen fridge was empty. No pots to cook or warm food up Did not see or hear from a butler at all though I believe the room came with one. All the above is not acceptable in a Ritz Carlton hotel. It was very disappointing

Lacking The Basic Must-Haves
I really wish this survey had asked more pointed questions such as: food, amenities etc. Overall this property is very nice: updated rooms, good location and good service. However, we felt it was lacking in key must-haves to thoroughly enjoy our stay and give a five star rating. We ordered room service one evening and the food was mediocre at best. The lobster sandwich was actually baby shrimp and unimpressive, as was the breakfast buffet. The pool was small and one big slab of concrete. There was no greenery, no scenery and it just wasn’t pleasant. The hotel bar sits in the middle of the restaurant with no views of anything and a makeshift bar in the corner. So as you can see from my review, we felt this property fell quite short in a few areas that are a must-have when we travel.
