Rooms have zero sound proofing!
I like the concept of the hotel (no reception). When my room didn't have an iron, I messaged them on the app and one was dropped off the next morning, so that aspect was good. Room itself was nice enough, although the bathtub looked extremely uncomfortable and the workmanship could've been better (a few loose fittings). But the reason why this room was terrible and why I will never return, is it has absolutely zero sound proofing. They are clearly aware of this as they leave ear plugs for you, but it's not enough. You can hear when someone in the room above or below you opens and closes their blinds, you can hear people on the street arguing, you can hear the elevator moving through the building, when someone else closes their door it's deafening loud. Like I say, zero sound proofing. If you want to sleep, don't stay here.

Amazing location and using the app to get in and out of the building/room or communicate to Sonder when needed was a breeze. The room was chic and clean. Would definitely stay again!

The room was exactly as advertised and overall my stay was very good. The only very complaint would be that my shower /tub was a bit wonky and the shower curtain wouldn’t budge. Very minor issues, really.

Sonder looked great. The suite was beautiful, and it was close to every main attraction/our desired location. The only downfall is that there are no cleaners or a reception desk. We thought this wouldn't be a concern at first due to having an online check-in and a place close by to store our luggage. However, it was not useful having no one come by to check up on how we were doing, if we needed anything, to take garbage away, etc. We were given 2 towels for our entire stay, and we were not given more than one roll of toilet paper. This room was shared between two people over 5 days. We reached out to the hotel about the towels and got two more, but they did not acknowledge our toilet paper request. They also did not come by to pick up any garbage ( we even requested that they do so). This is not functional and is leaving us with no option other than to be dirty. Flies joined us during our stay as a result of them not taking the garbage away because we did not know what to do with it. There was no guidance provided. It is disgraceful that they could not provide us with toilet paper or ensure we were taken care of during our stay here. As I said, the place looked great, the water was hot, and the location was ideal, but the ignorance and lack of care by the staff should not go unnoted.
