Our main complaint is that we found cockroaches in our room, more than once. We were told upon check in that the city was sold out because of time of year and local events, and we were also told that there were no other room choices at our hotel when we arrived, so we had no choice but to stay in that room in that hotel. When we told the front desk person about the bugs at check out, she seemed irritated we would even mention it. Obviously, they don't care.

It was a nice stay. It took a while for me to check in due to reservation problem but everything worked out.

Horrible .. Only available outlets in the room is at the bathroom sink the coffee pot is also plugged into this out let. The other option is to unplug the clock radio ,but that outlet is coming off the wall, the stench of marijuana was obvious in the hallway

Ok for the price, good location.
Okay stay. Limited breakfast, eggs cold. Pool was good the kids enjoyed it. Construction going on right by the room. Stuff from the construction on the car, they really did not try to contain. Very limited parking one night had to park on the far side of the property. Ok for the price.

Not recommended unless you're desperate
Ok, so this hotel did not have the amenities listed on the website. First of all, it was not a real Days Inn but a HoJos; I've been to much nicer Days Inns. Secondly, the check in window was sealed bulletproof glass, which immediately made me worry about my safety as a woman travelling alone. My first thought was "who comes here? Drug dealers and pimps?" I was concerned even though I'm from New York City and am pretty street savvy. The hallways were not well-lit and kind of dingy. Third, the hotel was so far out of the way. I had to take the metro and a taxi to get there. All the money I spent on commuting could have paid for a better hotel closer to the DC city center. Last, the free breakfast is first-come, first-serve and they don't have enough food for all the patrons in the hotel. The room was clean and air conditioned. There was an ugly visible pipe painted in a peach color. I felt ok once I was in my room but didn't really spend a lot of time there. Overall, I would NOT recommend this property unless you can't afford anything else, have your own car and are travelling in a group. Next time, I'll pay the money to stay in the city.
