The room was good; I happened to be located near the restaurant. The room had everything I needed, and the staff was able to bring me a fold-out, portable bed/cot. It also contained Wi-Fi, AC (mainly focused in the bedroom), hot/cold water, fridge, and a microwave.
The staff was great. Shout-outs in particular to Annette and Gladis who worked with me on some requests that I had. Some of which were solid favors that really helped me out! Continued hugs to both of you!
The restaurant was crucial and served good food, from a somewhat basic menu. There is nothing really close by, and if you rely on taxi's, will cost you about $20US one-way anywhere you go. Having food until around 900PM each night was critical! I particularly loved the goat curry and also the chicken curry. The hamburgers worked in a pinch too!
The grounds were large, and there is a bar at the pool. A walk-down to the beach was fine, but don't forget to get a card so you can get through the gate. The pool was large as well, and there were some fold-out chairs to lay out in the sun, but they were a bit tired/old. My only real criticism of the complex was that some of the surrounding areas were run-down and dilapidated. The room that I was in, restaurant and pool itself were fine however.
There are dozens of different owners for the complex. Your experience may vary. If you're lucky, see if you can get one owned by Gladis! She was responsive, so friendly and so very helpful during my stay.
