Great hotel, great location
We spent 4 nights at this hotel and liked it very much. We will probably return. The location is excellent for plays and restaurants. It’s pretty close to the Covent Garden tube station too. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the shower. It’s in the bathtub and you have to step over a tall bathtub wall to get in. The shower head is too close to the end wall so you have to stand right up against the wall. And you have to carefully position the hinged glass side wall at an angle to drain water back into the tub. If you don’t, you get a flood on the bathroom floor! Poor design. But we learned to deal with the shower and everything else about this place was great!

Nice solid experience if a bit sterile
A good solid hotel if a bit sterile. Room wasn’t ready at 4:00 and rather than provide one that was, asked us to wait “two minutes “ which became something long enough that we had to remind staff. Door staff wasn’t particularly helpful except they did get us an early morning taxi for Heathrow.

Best Hotel!!!
Absolutely amazing hotel. Best service we have ever had. Claudia went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We left for Paris and our 18 year old son stayed on to dance at the Royal Ballet. She even emailed me to let me know how he was doing. When we arrived back at One Aldwych our room was ready and our bags we had left behind we’re waiting for us. This hotel does not miss a single detail. Perfection!

Perfect stay, as usual!
One Aldwych never misses: perfect location, decor, staff, service, vibe, clientele. Elegant but never stuffy! It has kept its shine since it opened! Great for theater/opera/ballet travelers like me! Also, with its deft mix of contemporary and traditional, its a 5 star that can appeal to all tastes. Love the gym and gorgeous pool!

Great hotel. Attention to detail was great twice a day room service, fruits in the room every day. Very quiet. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. 2 restaurants on site plus the bar lobby. Lounge also present for guests. It is not cheap but it is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in.
