About Main Street Station Hotel, Casino and Brewery, Las Vegas

Victorian-style hotel in Downtown Vegas, near Fremont Street

Victorian Vegas style
Filled with Victorian decor and turn-of-the-century antiques, Main Street Station Hotel Casino and Brewery stands out amid the glitz of Las Vegas. About 3 miles from the north end of the Strip, the hotel is 2 blocks from the sights and sounds of the Fremont Street Experience.

Stroll to Fremont Street
A short 2-block walk to Fremont Street brings you to street performers, free concerts, and Viva Vision, the largest LED screen in the world. For a change of pace, you can take a 5-minute walk to the Mob Museum, where you’ll learn all about the history of organized crime in Vegas.

Hand-crafted brew, bites
Guests rave about the food, which ranges from sushi to gourmet burgers. Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery is a festive place to enjoy a fresh, handcrafted beer and snack while watching the game. Guests enjoy the T-bone steaks at the nicely priced Garden Court Buffet.

A basic home base
While the hotel may reflect the Victorian age, the guestrooms offer plenty of 21st-century amenities. Flat-screen TVs with pay-per-view movies, WiFi, and in-room refrigerators make your stay feel more like home. Large windows offer city views.

Great place to stay when in Vegas
I have to say I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are large and comfortable, the place has an old style charm to it and the restaurants and especially the breakfast buffet are very good. They do not charge a resort fee which is great. I will certainly try to stay here in the future.

Solo trip
This hotel was decent enough. Pros: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, cheap microbrews. Cons: Freeway noise, the rooms are a little dark, shower water temp changes while showering. marijuana stench throughout hallways, For the price, it was good, but I might try The California next time. Their bathrooms look nicer, and with an older crowd, there might be fewer potheads.

Quick trip to Vegas
Check-in was ok. Paid for a late check-out to be at 4pm (I had to leave so husband stayed behind to be picked up by some friends later). Lady at front desk called housekeeping while I was standing there and told them about 4pm checkout; maid tried to break the door down to get in about 1pm (luckily had the bar across or she would've just come right in) - total lack of communication. Door key was deactivated and couldn't get back in the room after lunch, husband asked at front desk for them to fix it so he could get back in to get his stuff. They first asked if his name was *****, he said yes, then they looked and said his name wasn't on the room (which it was because they asked me when I checked in and they put it on, plus they had just asked him if his name was **** and how would they know that if it wasn't on the room, because he hadn't yet told them). After he was getting mad and ready to get me on the phone, they quickly reactivated his key. Not impressed with communication between hotel staff. Otherwise, room was ok. Short showerhead.

Downtown Vegas Trip.
We enjoyed staying at Main Street Station. Fremont street is a fun place. The gambling is better than the strip. The restaurant/brewery was very good. Great selection of food and very good. Reasonable prices. Much better prices than the strip.
