Decent stay, loud traffic noise
The room was nice. You could tell it wasn’t brand new, but the staff were great. The hallways are sloped and lugging the luggage up and down takes effort. Our biggest issue was the road noise. The hotel is situated on the busiest road through town, and all night you could hear the zoom vroom of cars and large diesel trucks flying by. They moved our room and it helped a little, but overall just know that it won’t likely be a quiet stay.

Large suites with private laundry
The suites were great; very spacious and well-appointed. Having free laundry directly in the room was AWESOME. The location was pretty good - only a short walk to the main town area, but keep in mind the hotel sits atop a hill, so if you have mobility issues, you would probably find it difficult.

Great location
Great location - within walking distance of town with nice views of Queenstown. The location was little noisy with the traffic but worth it due to the views.....

Fantastic Amenities - Try for a High Floor
This is a bit of a hybrid of two reviews from two stays at the beginning and end of our trip. Both experiences were overall good, but the first was substantially better. The suite layout is fantastic--SO nice to have in-room laundry, and it's as big as our apartment in the US. The first stay, we were on the top floor of the Remarkables building--great view, quiet, and in fantastic condition. The second stay was on the ground floor of the Earnslaw building--a bit noisier and no view, and the room wasn't in quite as good shape. Definitely worth requesting a high floor for the view if the opportunity arises. As some other reviews note, it's a maze and it's up a pretty steep short hill. We didn't find either to be a huge issue. Parking was super easy the first stay but we had to park on the street for the second (during the Queenstown Marathon, which also drove up the price considerably). We booked a winery bike tour through the Concierge service--Thanks for the help, Thibaut! Would stay here again at the right price.
