Charming hotel near the harbor.
This is a charming hotel with a very helpful staff. The restaurant food is quite good and should be considered as a half board choice because it then becomes a true bargain. One negative: our mattress should have been retired long ago. If this is a general condition we don's know.

It was my first time to Jersey. The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. Staff was excellent. Food was great. Overall it was a great choice and I would definately stay there again.

convenient hotel, near amenities and comfortable
Lovely 16th century hotel, a little bit delapidated but comfortable. Ideal for shopping as only a short walk to shops, restaurants and extremely helpful staff. Short walk to Bus Station to pick up local buses and tours and short walk to beach. Were able to arrange all tours through reception. Good value, we had a room at the back, very little noise except from kitchen which started at around 7 a.m. so not bad. No airconditioning thank goodness, so no noise there and problem with the toilet sorted on second request. Room kept very clean and towels changed daily. Breakfast brilliant, only ate in restaurant in the evening once, which was very dissapointing, very expensive and not much on plate and vegetables were at an extra cost, but when complained, was given a reduction. Would certainly recommend this Hotel for its location and helpful staff.

Two sisters on holiday
Room was quiet but as it was at the front of the hotel is was very noisey throughout the night with seagulls squaking and bikering and then early morning bin collections - in particular glass bottles. The staff were superb - delightful and friendly I think they were the hotel's best asset. The location was good in that it was near the Esplanade and marinas and also the shopping areas.. Many good restrauants nearby - for a short brake take the bus - good system - but get in early and ask for a bedroom at the rear of the hotel!!!!! We were late due to flight delay and got t he worst room!!
