Enjoyable stay at The Cottage Inn
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sheets were a bit stiff and not soft and there were some stains. The room was spacious and the chairs by the ocean with the ocean view were wonderful!

On the Fence.
We have been going to this place for over 20 years. At first it was a good deal and the place was clean and friendly, with complimentary breakfast. Then the price tripled and we did not stay there for years. We decided to try again and we got a good deal, but the place was a bit run down, the carpet needed cleaning, but overall O.K.. Decided to stay another night, and the price increased by over $100.00. I thought you would reward loyalty, you did not, and it was just a Wednesday. Overall we enjoyed our stay. not sure if we will return.

Everything about our stay was perfect! We found our room to be clean when we got there. Glad the temps were cool at night since there is no AC but with the windows opened at night, it brought in a nice cool breeze.

Frustration
This hotel has paper thin walls and ceiling. The people upstairs sounded like they were stomping around until 11 pm then again at 5 am. When the maid came by with her cart it was like she walked right through our room. Every person who walked by you could hear as if they were in our room. The most frustrating thing was there is no air conditioning and only a ceiling fan that made noise. Needless to say it wasn't the most relaxing hotel stay that we've ever experienced. The front desk staff was friendly.

Nice location, but shabby conditions
The ladies at the front desk were kind and efficient, but the room I was in 214 needed some serious repairs. The screens on the windows were completely ripped. This was an issue because my daughter and I were there when it was hot and we needed the windows open to sleep. There was a walkway under the windows and someone could have easily climbed inside. The property could be really nice if they just tried to fix up some things. Beds were comfy, but TV took forever to load and change channels. The chair that was under the desk was so stained and dirty, I wouldn’t even sit on it.
