Not the Best Choice!
This hotel is very average, hard beds, door to bathroom won’t close, slippery shower floor with no bath mat available, and no early breakfast before 7:30am.

Poor 2.0
Smelly room, poor customer service. Felt unsafe
Room condition was fine and the bathroom was updated. Place is small and in the Victoria section neighborhood of London. We wound up only staying for six hours and checked out and went to another place. Our room smelled awful. Like pungent body odor. We were on our honeymoon and were provided two small twin beds. We asked for one bed and were told nothing was available and also informed of the smell. Both requests were rather poorly handled. Also the WiFi is almost 100% unavailable. Our room was the only one on the check in level and as you go up the steps you could see under the door and into the room as there was a six inch gap to the floor. Most definitely did not feel safe and they provide you a room card with the room number taped to the card and request it be returned. Certainly not the best idea if it’s lost on your day out anyone could tell the hotel and exact room to go rob. When leaving we asked for a receipt and was refused. The head guy told us that we would get no money back for leaving early. I never once mentioned we would even attempt that but the smug attitude and refusal to provide a good receipt will be taken up with and my credit card company. I do not recommend. But if you are fine with private room youth hostels, this place will be fine for you. But for the same price we wound up staying just 10 blocks away at a 4-star place with a bar and door man. Definitely worth us changing places.

After several bumps, an OK stay
There was garbage in the bathroom on checkin, which I was “fortunate” to get as the hotel cancelled my rooms when they tried to run my card several days prior to the start of my trip in total as well as a second time while I was already traveling and having limited access to my phone but not yet in England. After informing them via email prior to the start of the trip that confirmation states the funds are due upon checkin at the hotel I was told that basically they can do whatever they want. I left the US and embarked on my travel without changing hotel anyways. They violated the policy of and blamed me when I arrived for not just emailing them my credit card and allowing it to be charged a week in advance. Definitely put the stay there in the wrong foot. After accommodating the room the rest (minus the trash in it) the rest was relatively fine. It is about 5-10 minute walk to the subway which was good but I would likely not stay there again. Heater and a/c not very effective. Nice older building but narrow stairs were a little tricky traveling with a disabled vet and luggage. Night shift was kind and helpful with arranging laundry to be completed

Great location but cleanliness needs improvement
The service was just fine, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of this hotel was quite poor. When we first got to our room, the toilet very obviously had not been cleaned, which was rather off putting. The bedding was also not clean, as there were obvious sights of brown smudges and other things that would easily come out had the sheets and blanket been washed. Breakfast was mediocre. That being said, for the relatively low price in central London, it was not terrible, but an improvement in cleaning services is certainly needed. Location is great. Easy to walk to many different areas and also close to the Victoria station.

Poor 2.0
Good location, poor service and condition.
Booked for the 3 nights. Very unhelpful front desk. Got woken up when sleeping in on 2nd day telling me I was ahooosed to check out even though I had another day. After challenging the FD attendant he said he would double check and then call me back. Ear buds we’re stolen while there. The sink constantly backed up. Nasty smell and drained slowly. Room was very snalll and I didn’t fit in bathroom or bed at 6’6.
