Great stay!
I was very happy with my experience at the Hampton Inn suites in downtown Atlanta! From check in to maintenance, everyone was so friendly and personable. The Room was immaculate and newly renovated. While they were undergoing renovations, they worked very hard to make the transition smooth - there was no noise and they communicated well with each other. I recommend this hotel!

Poor 2.0
Hotel being remodeled. My room was extremely small as are the beds. It appeared that the beds were just slightly larger than one twin bed for 2 people. That did not work very well. Not worth the $180. plus dollars per night. The address of 161 Ted Turner could not be located using GPS. Hard to find the location. My preference is always Hampton Inn in my travels but I most certainly would not stay at this particular hotel again.

Not up to Hampton Inn standards
Hotel under renovation—one elevator covered in cardboard. Ice machines on 2 different floors not working. In our first room the remote did not work. In the second there wasn’t enough water pressure to wash your hair in the shower and the a/c are a loud bang every time it shut off. For Pete’s sake. And you charge me $250 a night. I know it’s Mart, but c’mon. When we checked out, there was a discrepancy between quoted rate and actual. Turns out the young man who checked us in needs training. He said it was a “deposit”. It turned out to be that, plus $50 for parking. On a good note, the breakfast ladies are lovely and the redecorated rooms are pretty.

LOUD CONSTRUCTION NOISE with friendly sfaff
The construction noise was extremely loud. I checked in late nd was planning to sleep in but that was impossible. The staff was incredibly friendly but had I know about the noise there is no way I would have booked this hotel.

You have a roommate!
The person in the room next to mine should have been considered a roommate. Thin walls are one thing, but these might be made of paper. I literally could hear every word of their conversation, and they were not arguing. TV had to be left on 24X7 to provide any level of privacy / white noise.
