Fine hotel for visiting Sao Paulo.
We went for 4 days vacation stop over in Sao Paulo and had chosen Golden Tulip Paulista as it is locaded in one of the safest areas of Sao Paulo.. It was very convinient to walk around with all shoping and restaurents close by, so it meet our expectations. Breakfast was good with variations and nice service, Fitness center was fine. We will book the same hotel next time. Only drawback: It could be more clean and standard is more like 3 star in Europa.

I am done with the horrible elevator. The overall experience is not worth the price.

I've stayed here multiple times and compared it to the surrounding area. For price and value, I think it's the best. Great everything within walking distance. Nice desk in the room to work on and breakfast buffet is excellent. Check in/out in many Brazilian hotels takes longer than it should but Golden Tulip is recommended.

Confortable hotel in a very pleasant neighborhood
This is a good hotel for its location. Close to the subway green line (about 5 minutes walk) and many good restaurants within one block from the hotel. The room I stayed was clean and people in the hotel very helpful. A multi lingual front desk staff is very helpful ( Portuguese, English, and Japanese). Breakfast is included. I guess my only negative comment and perhaps reflects my personal taste is that the Japanese breakfast served in the hotel could be improved. The rice was cold and so were other items. But, hey, the rest of the breakfast is awesome and you are in Brazil. I enjoyed my stay very much and will return to this hotel if I return to Sao Paulo. Ah yes, the wifi was a bit slow. It was always available but it was slow for a video meeting. It is also very close (5 min walk) to a shopping center

1 Star hotel, maybe.
The hotel advertised pictures were nothing like the present state of the hotel. The only nice part of the hotel was the lobby/foyer. The rooms were extremely old, the hallways falling apart, the carpet was shredded, the elevators and keys worked half of the time. The rooms plugs sparked, everything in the rooms were aged atleast 5-10 years. See attached pictures of fixtures falling off of the wall, phones, etc. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
